Charly, I swear that sometimes Chloe gets sick of me too. If I talk to her sometimes she will just act a little pissed off, and then when Daddy tries to talk to her she will be all smiles. But that's gonna piss you off, eh?!
I sometimes think Hannah's sick of me cos when she gets her Daddy she's happy and behaves!

He DID do the feed. I never asked, but between 8:45pm (I'd JUST dropped off to sleep!) and midnight she woke 3 times so I had to get up and replace the dummy and stroke her head.
I went out to DH, who was still up, and said "She's woken up 3 times in three hours. I don't know what to do".
He said he'd be "down in a minute".
Next thing I know, it's 2am and she's woken again. I stuck her dummy back in and he went down and flicked the jug on.
Came bacl, she was asleep. So he got back into bed, but he got up an hour and a half later when she woke and fed her
I was awake the whole time, and got up to her at 7am, so I had a sh*t sleep.
But he still did the feed, WITHOUTH BEING ASKED!!!

Anyway.
Novel over.
Thanks for the advice on the EBM.
I'll be doing that from now on

PS. Did he do the feed? I only ever convinced Willie to do the night feed once, they had been screaming for 20 hours straight and I had a complete melt down so he told me to go to bed and he' do it. Yep to what Jane said. I used to take the gremlins bottles out of the fridge when I went to bed so by the middle of the night when they wanted them they didn't take long to heat. I also used to heat the minimum amount of water in the kettle so it boiled quicker. It's really not recommended to keep EBM that warm for very long at all. But it's safe to keep reasonably fresh breastmilk at room temperature for up to 12 hours believe it or not, if it's in sterile containers etc. (not so for formula though!) so you could leave it on the bench and it only takes about a minute to heat in boiled water... so maybe he could change her while he waits for it to heat? We do that with Chloe. If she screams while we are trying to change her we just let her have the dummy for a few mins until her bottle is ready. But I find if we are just sitting on the couch waiting for the bottle, Chloe gets totally cranky... whereas if we are changing or doing something she doesn't seem as bad.

Sucks that you can't heat breastmilk in the microwave. 30 seconds is awesome heating time for formula

....I'm sick and I'd like DH to do the night feed so I can get a decent sleep.
The only problem is, he complains that it takes too long to heat the EBM up, meanwhile she's crying the house down and she keeps me awake.
At this point, I don't care - I just wanna be able to stay in bed for once.

Can EBM be kept warm for a few hours before needed? Or does it make it go sour?
And any tips on doing so?
We have an Easiyo maker. I'm thinking putting the bottle in there would do the trick?

Any tips/tricks/advice will be greatly appreciated
