I'm scouting around for bargain maternity clothes so I don't have to do a big shop all at once when I need them. I'm finding it hard to gauge the sizes I'll need though. Can anyone advise me on how fruitful/useless is is to buy any maternity clothes before being able to fill them out in the changing rooms? I'm wondering if it's just best to wait and see where I put the weight on, now.

And what's the deal with all these incredibly low-necked maternity tops?!? Anyone would think we're all trying to show off our swelling boobies to the entire world! Great if you suit the look, but not for those of us suddenly struggling with teenage-like skin problems thanks to bubs, or who want to be a bit discreet and hide our nipples, etc from the nation! Crikey.

Edited by Andie

Apart from that I pretty much lived in skirts as you can pull them up over the bump and they are comfortable, so I am really no help to you sorry.
