You should ask your landlord to put in a good word for you with the people across the road - it's the least he can do and I bet it would go a long way to helping you get the place.

grrr - I hate how landlords do this to people! My mum has been in the same situation 3 times within the past 2 years!
She had only been in the house she had to move from last week for less than 2 months!

We were lucky that last time our property sold the new owners wanted to keep it as a rental and keep us. Our landlord arrived today to advise he is selling our house ... grrr this is the second time in 12 months this has happened ........... the joys of renting.
