It's pretty damn cold here. We also live in a 50-year old house with no insulation and wooden windows (and only a logfire to warm it so unless I get up every 2 hours we have no heating).<br /><br />Jack has a sheet, 4-layered woolen blanket, 2 layered cotton blanket and a quilt and he's warm.]]>

We dont have a sheet and are still using our summer duvet with a blanket.<br /><br />In the next few weeks I imagine we will add the winter duvet and loose the summer one. We also have mink blankets on the sofas that come onto the bed if it gets really cold. No heating in our room.]]>

We have no heating in the room (nor any insulation in the house!) and it's fine.  I usually put my side of the elctric blanket on to warm up the bed before I get in, but sometimes that makes it too warm. Oh....I also have a sheepskin mattress protector, to stop the cold coming up from under the bed and through the slats.]]>

Havent got any extra blankets, we havent needed them yet.<br />But what I usually do is put a thick wool like blanket on aswell and when its reallllyyy cold we have an extra duvet we put on under the normal one.<br /><br />I dont like electric blankets they scare me a bit lol.]]>

No heating in the rooms but they have underfloor insulation and the walls have bats in them.</P><P align=left>I have an electric blanket (that is on every night), sheet and duvet. This is because we're trying to set up a homestay and we want to make sure it will be warm enough for the "status quo" of NZ - ie you! haha <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0"><br /><br />I have been eyeing up some cotton blankets (to go under duvets) but we're not sure whether they are warm enough just like that?<br /><br />So, we have a duvet and a mink blanket, and no heating in our room.
