You could take this either way but for an embryo to be stored you need a egg and sperm right... so in the inital process you need both "parents" to give consent and respected parts ...
Its like saying that when a baby in concieved naturally and then the dad buggers off that the baby isnt allowed to be born cause the dad hasnt given consent.
In the case of Natalie Evans, her and her then partner (or hubby I cant remember) made the embryos together.
Now the sticky point is because the baby is in a "test tube" judges, jurors etc can decide on the fate of this non - growing fetus - If it wasn't in a test tube would the dad be going to the high court for this baby not to be born??

Im not sure I like the idea of "frozen babies" but as jacobsmama said if something happened then having that there would be nice. If hubby had to have treatment that would make him infertile (or me for that matter) then I think we would do it but then I would feel obligated to use them all rather than destroy them and could end up with a rugby team! Well, in theory, I like the idea that should you become sick and the treatment render you infertile, that you have that option.   Not too sure about the whole "donor" thing, and if I *think* about it, the idea of babies frozen is kind of creepy.
