Good on you for holding out, you've done what he requested. I reckon he is just seeing how far you'll go. We had this when we sold our previous house, but we stood our ground. We actually thought the sale was going to fall through, but he was playing games and waited til 4pm on Friday to confirm it. And then we had to chase him for the deposit. What makes it worse is that he is a real estate agent!!

I know your irriatation on this, we are negotiations on our place at the moment, and they have started with a really pissy offer, they need to come up a lot before we sign, its so frustrating

I hated when we sold our flat in SA. The waiting game just kills you. Okay so we have had an offer, we have spent the day negotating....the seller asked if we would sell at a certain price....we signed at that price and he came back with $3,000 under what he asked as to sign at.....

have told Kent to tell the agent that we will walk away as im not playing games anymore.....its not fair

so fingers crossed we dont have to walk away (and i know its only 3 grand....but we are already taking a 10grand loss under our bottom line....so we really cant afford to drop that 3grand)
