Tania really irritates me when she is angry, and to show just how angry she is she talks with her teeth clenched....

I think Craig and Alice do yeah , there was also a rumour that TK was leaving , but i dont know for certain , and i dont know if thats with or without Sarah ....

Excuse my ignorance but is Chris leaving SS? I quite like his character ...it's nice to have an old, familiar face hang around on the show!

I have to admit I like the tania/hone storyline ...gives it a bit of spice, surely some of you have either had a thing or 'fling' with/for an older man in the past? Ohh the good old days...lol

Anyhoo, Kip - TOTALLY DOES NOT DO IT FOR ME!

I'm a HUGE scotty fan, love his jawline ...mmm yum! And TK is pretty close runner up lol

Geralds character is great, getting a tad bit annoying now though!

Hmm think think is there anything else I feel the need to comment on???

Maia - gawd she is getting too whiney for my liking, something about her voice gets me all riled up - oh and riley send her back home already! I didn't actually mind Maia when her partner was alive ...I quite liked those scenes lol ...and no I'm not 'that way' inclined.

Ok better leave it at that before I put my foot in my mouth

I was also shocked at Toni dying, I bawled my eyes out, tried to hide it from DH but next thing I see him passing me a hanky, how embarrassing, and I thought the funeral was too soon and could have been more drawn out.

I know of someone else who leaves too, because I saw them on good morning saying about how they are now doing theatre, but I won't tell in case you don't want to know.

I so hope that Tanya doesn't sleep with Hone, what does she see in him, he is such a sleeze. I would choose Kip anyday over Hone, at least he is fun.

I also can't stand Riley and I hate Maia (always have) she is a whiny cow. I thought they played down the PND thing with her and made out in the end like she didn't have it and it was just that Jay has Kennedy's disease (did they make that disease up for the show, has the same name as one of the old bars)

I am annoyed at what they have done with Kieran's character with the dance party thing and him getting alcohol "off the back of a truck" He was on good morning the other day too, saying about how he really enjoys being on Shorty rather than Coro as the characters on Shorty are multi-dimensional.

I didn't know Hone only stays for 6 weeks! So he can't accept the CEO role then. I was so excited about Dr Ropata coming back! What a let down! Although i cant even remember what he was like way back when... i think i just like it when old characters come back lol.

 

On the ad it made it seem like he was out to steal chris's job, but then on the show its like he doesnt even like what riley is doing or want chris's job..

Yep Bel - he's only on it for 6 weeks. It's funny I don't remember his character of old being like he is now - though I guess you do change a lot in 10 years. However I found that also when they brought Guy back, he'd changed heps too (I know the drugs were an issue etc), and in the old days he and Chris had their probs but not like they seemed to in this 'round'. I thought when he left originally to get Tuesday medical help he and chris were ok as Chris went with him to help (or something like that). Oh well, I guess it's pretty silly to try and make sense out of a soap.......which really aren't based in the 'real world'.

Hmm yeah we were totally shocked too!! I was standing in kitchen making dinner with tears rolling down my face - DH understood tho - he was shocked too!!

Am not finding the new Dr Ropata character very nice - I don't find him very solid yet, seems a funny way to portray him.  Hope he gets a bit better, I definitely don't like him at the moment.  I don't think he will take over as CEO, I think I read somewhere that he was only on for 6 weeks...?

I read in Womans Day a while ago that she was really stressed out at work and had depression or something. She probably just wanted out! Must be hard work.

Now after seeing some ads for the local thearte here in Palmy I now know why she is not longer on the show. She (Laura Hill) is currently staring in the show here.

Omg I was so shocked aswell, I sat there with my mouth open going "omg omg omg" and tryign to hold back the tears. It was Sarah;s crying and Chris's face that made me nearly cry.
I cant believe they took her out of the show...

Yeah it was really sad to see her go. I was talking to the TV and saying Nooo not Toni. Cooper even got upset with it. Especially at the end when they didn't play the music!

I think it was just as shocking as Claires exit.

I love Geralds character, and I agree when he's on screen he's very funny. I don't like the dance party storyline either, something bad is going to happen.

Was anyone else surprised by Toni's shock exit last night?

I for one, was totally not expecting it. I watched it on tvnzondemand at some early hour of the morning, I was getting into the storyline and really feeling sorry for her when they mentioned dialisis and then next minute BAM- She's Gone!

Maybe I'm just being ignorant because I no longer read the womans mags. I seriously didn't expect that though.

And I'm really not liking the Dance Party storyline with Keiran, he's being such a prat!
