I agree with Kelpa.

DF has always been open about it, and like nearly everyone here has said, we've often watched it together.

What I really don't like though is when, if he gets all randy and revved up and I'm not in the mood, he'll often say "Oh, well I'm gonna have to go watch some porn now." It just makes me uncomfortable... I would feel much better about it if, in that situation, he just went off and did his thang. I don't want to know.

I was brought up in a traditional, strongly religious family and I have very strong objections to it. DH on the other hand, doesn't see the problem. To be different.....Neither DH nor I believe that porn is healthy. We believe it to be appealing but harmful in the long term. I do think that most, if not all men, and many women have a desire to watch it and my DH is no exception but we aim to make our home porn free. We have what DH calls girl porn and guy porn.

The girl porn is what couples watch together, boy porn is what a guy watches on his own (not lesbian/gay porn.. thats a whole other kind).

We have both. I have absolutely no problem with it, DH doesnt hide it from me. I would be upset if he did, because I believe we have a very open relationship and can talk to each other about anything. Definately wouldnt want it lying around for kids to find (when we have them).

I don't have an issue with porn as a whole at all. In fact I used to work for a magazine distribution company and used to bring mags home for DP all the time. We've rented movies together and that sort of thing, but don't own any.

Actually, now I think about it, my old company had a stand at Erotica a few years ago, and I did the Saturday morning shift with DP. So yeah, no issues with porn at all.

I don't even mind DP perusing sites on his own, and him not telling me about it would not make me think he was hiding anything, more that he was just looking in his own time.

Yep I didnt mind in the old days when I would find them under his bed at his house and he never cared that I knew, and I read the stories lol but the last couple of times hes done it when I have been out then tried to cover it up. and it p****s me OFF!! I would be bothered if he was hiding it from me but am not bothered about him watching it or reading a dirty mag etc.
I'm used to working in a male environment so I've become pretty immune to it, porn is just part of the scenery in your average workshop. It doesn't really do it for me, and I don't think Willie is a great fan either, but he occasionally brings home dirty mags from work. I think he does it more coz everyone else at work does it than coz he particularly gets off on it, but even if he does, I have no issues. It's not a big secret or anything.

Over the years that I have worked in IT, and in general conversations with guy mates it's pretty clear a lot of guys still hide their porn secrets from their significant others. Whether they are obtained via internet sites, sent via e-mail from friends, mags or DVDs.. whatever form they can get.

Some say that their DW/DP would never allow it and would be horrified, and others don't know what the reaction will be so they hide it anyway. Also a lot of my girlfriends that I have spoken to about it have talked of being very upset at discovering the secret and others say they would go ballistic. Personally I have to say I'm pretty much ok with it and DH doesn't hide anything. I have warned DH though that when the kids are older I don't want them finding daddy's special folder on the PC.. I suppose I also wonder if men ever grow out of it?

How do you feel about it in terms of your DH/DP indulging in it, really?
