I always preferred to offer it on here first then go to TM if there was no interest. Same! And more often than not, if I'm selling it to a friend, then I'll sell it cheaper than on TM. I'll pass your feedback on. The decision to get rid of the Buy/Sell board was because it was being abused by people advertising their businesses without prior permission, and we found that general members wanting to sell stuff preferred to use Trade Me.

Yeah that buy/sell section rocked!!  Even if we had a swap/giveaway section now, that'd be a bit of alright.  My guess is it's all to do with people paying to advertise here and then others getting free advertising by putting up a TM link... but dag nab it I miss those!
