personally i wouldnt get my boys greenstone for their 5th birthday, their 21st maybe tho... i dont know if they would appreciate it as a fifth birthday gift.

I would like to get my children something very significant for their 5th birthdays. And I have thought about getting them a greenstone when they turn 5. Can I do this (I am thinking about Maori traditions here)?? And is it possible when I get around to getting it I can find one that the greenstone has come from my tribal area (I am from Kaikoura)?? And how do I get it blessed??

And is this an alright thing to get boys??
