Haha we did exactly the same last year (Hamilton Zoo though) and also draw a blank this year. We thought about the Waitomo Caves but I think she is too young still for that. Maybe it's a little too young for her to do yet, but do you have a Beadz Unlimited store near you? You could take her to make her own necklace or bracelet. Or what about Swish Dish where she can paint her own dish and get it glazed.

Last year DH & I took the day off work and took Caitlin to the zoo for her birthday (just us - it was great ). One of those odd sunny days in winter.

We want to do the same this year but where?!?!?!

I don't want to do to Kelly Tarltons because it's crap and over priced lol Chipmunks is no good because she's going there for her birthday party.
