I personally wouldn't go out in this weather with a sick little one but agree that fresh air is good for clearing the head, maybe keep a couple of windows open for air circulation?

I kinda work on the theory that if I wouldn't take myself out when I had a cold then why would I take him/her out?  If I am not feeling well the last thing I want to do is leave the house... I think that resting at home is the best way to recuperate, but if you have to go out then that is a different story...

I did when Neosha was small as walking wwas the only thing that would put her to sleep for a long time if she had a cold I just put all woolens on her, wrapped her up, put her into a buggy bag, covered the buggy with her mink blanket then the storm cover on top to keep the wind off. Just make sure you can still keep an eye on her through the little window on top. But if shes really sick then maybe don't take her out.

I personally wouldn't take her out. She will be toasty warm but will still be breathing in cold air. DH commeted to me the other day that I hadn't been walking for a few days (I walk most days for an hour or two), and I said no I hadn't 'cos Rohann hasn't been well (a cold that turned viral - with a viral rash, plus a little chesty) and didn't want to take her out in the cold. He then went on to say would she not be ok as she gets rugged up toasty warm with covers on the buggy etc.
I still personally think I'd rather not taker her out, so was wondering what all your thoughts are on the matter.
