You really only know if dr says so lol. But there's no big problem with having excema on the face unless it gets raw (unusual). Just try to wipe regularly to keep the moisture down - regardless of what type of rash it is. If you are worried about the rash, take him to the Dr, they will give you better advice after looking at it. But if you suspect it is excema, I would slather him in lemnis fatty cream (you can get it free on prescription) several times a day and see if it improves.

I took my son to the doctor because he had a rash under his chubby chin and on the side of his face.

The doctor said to use moisturiser first as they don't like to diagnose excema straight away to avoid steriod creams.

i took him back because it started to get red, inflamed and flakey in one particular patch. This was excema in which we got prescribed hydrocortisone but he still gets a dribble rash which is just red.

how do you know if its excema? I see he has some patches across the top of his back! Chloe had a dribble rash/excema (I think it was a bit of a combo!) and we put zinc and castor oil cream on it, which helped initally.
