I've got something worse though, that has only intensified with being pg - I drool something chronic in my sleep and will almost always wake up with either a wet patch on the pillow, sheet, my face, or all three !

With the thirst, it's especially bad coz I'm on the phone all day, I've taken up what Toni_akl has tagged "chain drinking" - constantly sipping from my water bottle, yay for a water filter at work (hate grotty tap water)! If I'm not quick enough in the mornings though, not only do I get dry mouth but my tongue sticks and I muddle all my words *sigh*

When I was in labour they gave me 3l of IV fluids, and only took 300ml out the catheter, so Maya was obviously just leeching the moisture out of me.

But mention it to your midwife. She will do a urine test to check for sugar in your urine which is one of the first signs of gest diabetes, and if thats a bit suspect might arrange a Glucose challenge.
