You just open the capsule and put the drops on a tissue in the cot or on their pajamas. Also we rub vicks on her feet and cover them with socks, that's meant to really help it absorbs really quickly through feet. Our Dr told us to try that one.

Other than that we just try the saline drops and the hot steamy bathroom trick.

You'll probably have to take some toys in so she's not bored. If only preschoolers could blow their nose!
Remember to keep an eye on her as she can develop an ear infection from the conjestion. She absolutely hates having a blocked nose it makes her so upset. She will cry out 'bogies up my nose mummy' and get really worked up and of course when she is crying her nose runs even more. Vicious cycle!

A friend recommended Demazen ( which is an over the counter antihistamine) and I went and talked to the pharmacist just to check if it would be okay. Only thing is the rules have changed and they are not supposed to sell it for use on under 2's. In saying that it could be worth a chat to your doc or local pharmacist?? It does make Charlotte a bit tired so only use it a couple of times a day 9less than the recommended dosage).

Not sure if that is something you would want to use or not? Hope Elle gets better soon. not much fun for the poor wee dots is it (or their Mummys!!)
