I know you are thinking ahead but when he is old enough and ready to toilet train he may sit down to do it.

if you try again when he's abit older, he may be more inclined to sit still

when you think he's ready to start.....keep some books in the toilet and read to him while he's sitting there, or sing some of his fave songs

so how do you potty train a kid that never sits still...literally......he hardly sits and when he does its when he is eating. All he does is run around all the time.
