the doc said 10days prior and until the spots have dried.
no spots here yet tho!! fingers crossed tho!

sarah had them when she was 7mths.

I got told they were contagious from 3 days before the first spots (altho the first day there were only 2 spots, we had no idea!) until the last ones have scabbed over, which can take up to a couple of weeks. Mine have all had them, they are contagious from 10 days before the spots appear until the spots have all scabbed over.

I had them as an adult. I was told by the doctor they were contagious before the spots came out AND when I had spots/blisters.   

Alot of people say that once the spots are out that it is no longer contagious, but I'm pretty sure this is a myth as I had to have 2 weeks off work and be isolated.

1 of the kids at jetts caregiver has come out in chicken pox today.

so my question is . . .

are they contageous the week before the spots come out AND while there blister like??
or just the when they blister??
