That's sounds like a good idea then. There are some really cheap ones on TM at the moment. Someone is selling 10 mf inserts for $30.

Stacey, I had thought about making my own pattern but as I am not familiar with pockets I am a bit nervous. Hopefully I can get a pattern from Ditto. Will look at buying inserts then as Mum's overlocker isn't always reliable and probably more hassle than it's worth

There's a person on TNN who has their own OSFM/OSFA (I don't know if it would fit nb, but definately small-large) If you have an account you can PM Ditto and ask nicely for it. OSFA nappy pattern: can't help you there sorry, I made my own. Maybe you could try and do the same?

Snaps vs velcro: personal preference really, I prefer snaps and have some velcro naps but I do have to go and pick out all the lint etc from them every now and then.

Inserts: Microfibre inserts sound fine for Jack. a combination of hemp and microfibre I find works best at night. It's up to you if you choose to make or buy them. Ok, I am finally going to get my A into G and make some pocket nappies. I have a few questions first:

Does anyone know where to get a OSFA pocket nappy pattern? I really like having OSFA so this would be my preference. I can't seem to find one on TNN website

Snaps vs Velcro - which is best? We have velcro on our OSFA fitteds and always thought that was best as I could have them done up where ever I liked but everyone seems to have snaps. Plus I have noticed that our velcro has started to get a bit fluffy

What should the inserts be made from? I would say that Jack is a standard wetter so would need something small(?) for the day and something that will hold for 12+ hrs at night.
