Yay another addict!

Liana Barret Chase is pregnant I think. Isn't Jodie Tahuna as well? I would love to see Temapara play for NZ again - she's a little pocket rocket and has got the balls I think some of our players lack.

What level do you play at BooBoo and what position? You sound full on - good on ya!

I just got Sky Sport added on Sunday so I could watch the semis and final as up till then I'd only been catching the games that aired on TV1 on Saturday afternoons.

Yeah it is a shame that the ANZ champs was pretty much just ok sky, because Im sure a lot of other lovers would have LOVED to have watched it on normal tv.

I play 3 nights a week and train once a week - yep I love it! I play indoor twice a week and once a week outdoor Saturday competition - I LOVE it!

Im very lucky, my DH loves the netball too - I think it helped though that this year Kath Harby Willams is on radio sport every day - so he learnt a lot about it from listening to RS everyday. Which I think is wicked! He said last night that hes enjoying it more now too because he knows more of the rules etc. Mum loves it to but nothing like me. Everyones amazed that I can have full conversations with DH about all the names of players whos playing who when when etc - its crazy!

Be interesting to see whos in the NZ side once they name it isnt it, I am dying to know who they have as a GA apart from Maria - I dont think a lot of the GA's have really stepped up this year to say pick me? What do you think? Megan Denn I think thats her name from Steel has really played well - but shes an Australian lol.

Do you think Temepara will be available for the NZ team this year? Be interesting! Liana Barret Chase has said shes not available damn it! Wonder why? I know she has a 5 year old daughter I think and shes only young herself - but still its weird dont you think when she tried to get in last year but missed out!

ETA - Man what a ramble sorry! Once I start I cant stop I netty!

Hey you - finally someone to share the game with - no-one in my family or friends is interested I'm an armchair player - used to play social indoor and basketball before kids. What about you?

I have to back Magic of course - otherwise there's not going to be a NZ team in the final AND it's pretty much a silver fern side.

Chockolat played really well - wouldn't know she'd been injured. I think Aussie have got some real gritty players to pick for their side.

Yeah weird about Irene wasnt it, I thought they would have put her back to GS half way through that terrible 3rd quarter - that is totally what lost it for them that quarter wasnt it. How much did Cassie Willams deserve that car - that girl is amazing.

Wow didnt Gerard play well, she really had an outstanding game - that was a wise move moving her back to GD. I thought Natasha Chockolat the C for Vixens had an awesome game! For not really being a "star" shes certainly put her had up for wanting to be in the Aussie team hasnt she!

Lol totally agree about McMahon!! Frustrating isnt she! But damn shes good - which makes it worse! lol.

Who do you think will win next week? I'll go Magics way - maybe wishful thinking lol. Wonder where Irene will be this week!

Thunderbirds did well to claw their way back. Gerard and Von Burto (SP) played out of their skins. Ooo yay another netball enthusiast (doesn't look like there's many of us?). I think Magic really lost their way in the 2nd & 3rd quarters but did well to pull it back in the 4th. They should have won though.
Interesting to see Irene at GA - wonder if we'll see her in that position in the ferns?

Tonights going to be a battle I think. I reckon if Natasha Chokolat is back and playing as well as she was before she got injured then the Vixens will win otherwise its a Thunderbird Magic semi I think!

Anyone else thing that AmyJean Metcalf last night just wasnt playing her best in the last half? She just wasnt letting the ball go at all and she passed that silly across court pass where Kimberly Green intercepted it when Irene was totally open right infront of her! That cost the magic the game if that ball had of gone into Irene I would say that they would have won or at least gone into extra time.

Yep I am VERY passionate about netball!

No unfortunately 56-57 so home final for Swifts in Sydney. Almost went into overtime though so was a nail biter. From what I heard, she went to hospital on Thursday, had bubs (her 5th - still unnamed - she has higher priorities at the moment LOL) within 5 minutes of arriving there and was coaching them at the game on Saturday or Sunday (can't remember which day).
