Author: surfergirl
Subject: 19139
Posted: 16 July 2008 at 8:11am

mummy_becks, what about saving half of your dinner? So you eat half with the boys and then leave the rest until you are hungry later on. That way it's the same amount of cals/Kjs but just spread out.
Often, as someone else might have pointed out, thirst is often mistaken for hunger. So have a big drink of water and wait for 15 mins, most often people find they were not hungry but thirsty. On this point it's important to make sure that it is water you drink, not juice or sweet stuff as this 'feeds' the sugar in your bloods and makes you MORE partial to hunger attacks as your blood sugars drop quickly.
God, sorry to sound like a 'know it all' - just trying to help and realise I sound bossy.

Edited by surfergirl
