You could probably go either way but it probably wouldn't hurt to introduce it early to get her used to it? I'm sure she will pick it up when bubs is born as well. whichever you choose!!

Not sure if it is because of her having dolls or not!!??

Altho most of them end up unclothed at home and at DC! The ones at DC are anatomically correct too...

She has been taught to cuddle them and now feeds them and tucks them in etc too....and most importantly she has been taught by us and DC to "pat pat" bubbas...gently pat them no hitting, no harsh movements etc...she now always "pats" any bubbas - real or plastic

She had access to baby dolls (a couple of different ones) quite a few months before - xmas gifts - and was well into how to treat the baby. When her sis was born she would always bring helpful things for the bubba (blanket etc) based on what she'd learned through play. In fact she still offers any baby a blanket .

I'm getting her a wee stroller for it too, because she loves those toy strollers so much. I'm wondering, is it best to give her the doll when baby arrives, or beforehand, to kinda prepare her for baby? I know lots of other people have given their kids dolls around this time, so what worked for you and what didn't? Not a big deal, I know, but I don't want to 'waste' the cool new toy on her earlier if she's going to lose interest in it once baby is here.
