thanks ladies.yes i'll try looking at the babycentre website.For some reason i thought it was some american thing.Iv'e found huggies to be ok there is some really helpfull people on there but also some very critical judgemental ones.I cant help but reteliate at them!!

We are in the same boat. We are going to perth tho. My partner leaves on the 9th august and myself and the children will follow at the end of september. An idea might be to have a look here (and yes that is our Emma in the banner ) as it is an NZ and AUS forum. Be aware thou it can get very catty and you can only talk about their products. But it might help you with the hunt for some people over there.

I wonder if they have something like this over there....A forum? Maybe try babycenter.com? Seems to be pretty useful site.....and you can choose Australia from their main page I think...............

Hi Ladies

Im not sure whether i am posting in the right section.Im moving over to the Gold Coast in 5 days.Im 20 weeks pregnant and moving over with my partner.
Im alittle paranoid that im going to get homesick as i dont no anybody and will have no family over there for awhile.
I was wondering whether there was anybody on this forum in the same situation?Who is about to move or who already has?
Even if you no of anyone that i can have a good chat to about it all.
I would love to find someone living on the Gold Coast i can meet up with!
