My mw seemed to still want me to count at least 10 movements per day and said that if I was worried I could either a) have a drink of ice water or b) ring them and they can do a quick listen to the heartbeat.

She also mentioned that as I get bigger the placenta may move again (damn thing!) but that with an anterior placenta to expect kicks and movements to be less noticeable than my first (normal placed placenta).

I definitely suggest discussing with your mw - but you are likely to find everything is ok for you and bubs.

Hope this helps.

It seemed weird that it might have 'moved' but I guess that's what happened! Am feeling loads again in the last couple of weeks, call your MW if you are worried though. And failing that it shouldn't be too long til your next scan to see whether it is the placenta position meaning you feel less at the moment.
