I have heard new market childcare is excellent it's a not for profit community based centre so that's why it's cheaper. The private centres are really really expensive so try and look for a not for profit centre.

I work in day care and the centre i work at is a community not for profit centre it's also $165.00 a week for under 2's but it's a bit far from St Heliers, it's in Manakau.

My advice would be visit lots or ring up and ask about fee's and space most places are booked already but it depends. Good luck

Not really close to St Heliers but Newmarket Childcare is $165 per week for under 2's. I've been looking at childcare centres and the costs here in Auckland and they are HORRENDOUS! They range anywhere from $240-$365 for a week!
