We had to give 3 weeks notice to our Porse educator. It was stated in our contract. Thats no good Mum2Ella. A huge part of being a homebased caregiver is being really reliable for the families. It must be really frustrating for you. I know that with Kidstart it is 2 weeks notice so it's probably similar. I love my homebased carer as well, but lately she is starting to get a little unreliable and I think work are started to get a little bit annoyed with all the time I have had to take off (which I totally understand) so I am looking at enrolling her in daycare.

I know with Porse the educator has to give 4 weeks but even looking through our contract that it isn't stated for us or them.

Just wondering if anyone knows how many weeks notice I have to give if I am taking Ella out of home based care? Ella is enrolled with Jemmas but I have read through all their information but I can't find it anywhere. I am thinking 2 weeks???
