They work on different pain centres so the effects can be quite different. If pamol isnt working for pain or fever I will move onto the fenpaed but for things like ear infections I have just given both from the start.</P>]]>

If you just take one it does not work, by the second or third i think it has kicked in enough and it works really well!  Thats all i know and it is the adults version.]]>

Pamol for general pain/fever but I use brufen when their ears are bad or they are all blocked up as the anti inflammatory helps with that.]]>

But ibuprofen is good for anything inflamed, so soothes something like a bladder infection better than pamol does.  ]]>

Both are free so no issues with price.  I like that fenpead has antimflamatories in it so its great for when Daniels gums are really red and sore.]]>

Jack refuses all medicine anyway so hes not a problem. I splashed out on some neurofen and it seems to do the trick. The best part is she actually sleeps after taking it. Jack would not sleep after taking paracetemol.]]>
