Tells me that I can go after I get her there in the morning, doesn't want to finish early (which is still an option as she gets used to the longer day) and looks forward to the next school day! Well, I went to pick Kiya up early at 1:30 (they have a break from 1:30 till 2) and she wanted to stay for the rest of the day! Suzi (her teacher) said that Kiya's been fine, and so she's still there!

Suzi is also our neighbour, and today her husband is home so she's dropping her kids home after school. I'm back home now... I stayed the first hour with her. I'd hoped to only stay 30 minutes, but as she was still holding onto my trousers, I knew that wasn't going to work!

When I left, she was sitting at her new desk, doing some writing ("f", "F", "9", "Kiya" if you're interested) and she was happy for me to go.

Its a funny kinda feeling - she's my little girl! yet she's a big girl now! I don't have any friends in Ohakune I can go and visit, so I'm chatting to you girls with my drink.
