Not only that but we were using condoms after the birth of our little girl and managed to get preg again already *by accident*. LOL. So there is definitely hope.

I think it depends on the severity though, my sister had endo but had it terribly bad and had to have a hysterectomy when she was only 24

But don't count your chickens, I had it mildly (they thought it might be cysts too) and I didn't have any trouble getting preg!

ETA: I was on a low GI diet too but for blood sugar probs... I was under the impression it was more of a factor with ovarian cysts but may help with endo, *shrug*

Edited by LittleBug

My doc has believed I've had endo for many years but we decided not to do anything about it until after I've finished my family (or until I feel the need to hurt someone because of the pain ). Just interested, as Carys was early and we have no medical reasoning as to why (one day I will give up trying to figure it out, I promise)

My specialist believed that without the male factor, we would have been ok (and vice versa too of course - without my endo, the male factor may not have been such an issue).

All the best!!

(P.S. Make sure you don't leave TTC for more than 6 months after the endo surgery - I hate to say it, but if you have problems you need to get the ball rolling as quickly as possible)

The cyst was from it as well as areas of scarring around area including a blocked right tube. I'm so damn sore right now but also of course a little worried about weather we'll have a preg without IVF. The doc thought our best chance will be in the next few months. So just wondering who else is is a similar position and any suggestions you might have. I think I'll post this in the preg forum as well as it'd be interesting to see if anyone has managed to get preg with endo.
