Cool thanks for that everyone Am going to try putting them in outfits/sets first like Janine said as its all newborn stuff so hopefully new mummies will want to buy all the stuff (and cos it takes less time to put on TM in sets!). I sold ayja's stuff in sets and found that got better hits and better money - ie, I did up some that had a few nice outifts, matching stockings and undertops and singlets and some booties and headbands etc - so they got a package of a few outfits together.

Or i sold bulk lots of singlets in one go and bulk of bodysuits in one go, bulk knitted cardigans in one go etc - - not heaps and heaps - maybe about 15 in one lot, and 15 the next.

Any really really nice expensive sets i sold off individually.

Worked well and went fast!

With stuff like bodysuits and aio's I prefer to buy in bulk (as I usually need more than one .. and its a PITA bidding on 5 auctions of the same item from the same seller).

i'm looking for daycare clothes for charli at the moment and i prefer buying in bulk.....

If you cant be bothered getting to picky about creating sets you could always do a bigger bulk lot and throw in some fancy stuff to get peoples attention.

I prefer to buy nicer stuff individually (although I seem to spend way more that way, good for the sellers though)
Everything else I would probably buy in outfits or bulk lots of 3 or 4.

I go on TM wanting a bargain. LOL! So I guess I would probably go for sets of like items, or individuals. Maybe you could separate the gowns out into 4 x 3 sets. I guess then if people want 6 gowns, they can combine postage but you still can offer 2 trades. And you might have more success if you sold a matching cardy and pants instead of individually.

I can imagine how daunting it would be! It's what we'll be doing with most of Ashlee's things if we have a boy next time around. I am just sorting through the ridiculous amount of baby clothes that Greer has grown out of and trying to work out the best way to sell off the good stuff. Bearing in mind that I really have heaps - two rubbish bags full and this is just up to 6 month stuff cos I got LOTS of stuff passed on to me - how would you prefer to buy baby clothes....

a) individual items
b) sets of like items eg 3 set of singlets, 3 nightgowns, 2 all in ones....
c) full sets in one size eg 2 gowns, 2 AIOs, 3 singlets, 2 pants etc in size NB, then the same items in another set but size 000.
d) full sets in a few sizes eg 2 gowns, a few singlets in each size, a few AIOs in each size etc

I have about 12 gowns, at least 50 dome up singlets in all sizes, about 25 AIOs, heaps of pants, tops, cardys, jackets, dresses etc etc. Its quite a daunting task!
