My first month it took 40 days to come through and then after that it's been reasonably regular. eg 25-28 days. I have been off the BCP since March and my cycles still aren't regular! and still no BFP for us. I'm pretty sure I was a 28 day girl before I went on the pill but can't really remember as that was over 10yrs ago! I can't remember what my cycles were like but i had been on the BCP for a few years. I came off BCP and had light AF straight away as if I was still on it. We started TTC as soon as I came off. Had AF about 28days later and had BFP the following month. Hey Kelly, I answered you a bit differently in the other thread so check out that post too.

 

I was on BCP for 8 or 9 years (can't remember) and my cycle went to 29 days straight away and remained that way for the 3 months until I got BFP.  Now, since AF came back about 7 months after having Michaela I'm on a 28 day cycle with a 30 day one thrown in every few months to keep me on my toes.

I have no idea what my cycle was before BCP lol. I was on BCP for 10 years and I cant remember but I think it was a regular cycle as I dont remember it being weird IYKWIM.

I hope Ive undrstood you right, if not please just correct me , here goes. If your af started 2 days after stopping BCP thats the first day of your new cycle. So say you started AF yesterday you will now be on cycle day 2. CD1 is the first day of bleeding (not spotting). so you are usually a 27 day cycle ?were you a 27day cycle before you were on the BCP ?

I finished my BCP the tablet before the sugar pills started, and 2 days after that i got my AF, so im guessing that ones too early to be counted as a cycle cos i didnt wait a month for it or anything, it was just what i would have got anyway (if that makes sense)

Im just trying to get the hang of all this stuff,some of its very confusing haha
