Hey we are currently in the states, with our quicksmart. It isn't really the right size to fit into overhead bins, but the airline host said that it would fit in fine, the plane was full so we checked it anyway, but we have found at Auckland airport and La airport that they are happy for you to check the stroller at the front desk but then take your stroller right up to the plane and then they will take it away and stow it. In St Louis we found our stroller waiting at the plane door when we got off!
So basically any stroller is fine.

My stroller arrived today and it's great, only thing is it wont fit in overhead on plane. But that's okay, I will work something else out with check-in.

I think we are going with the 4-wheeler stroller. Only because the fold down mechanism looks a bit easier... it is a bit more pricey than the 3-wheeler, but as I will be dealing with Phoenix on my own at the aiport, the 2-step fold down seems ideal. Freesia - it wobbles a little but that is because of the way the suspension is set up, otherwise I find it good and sturdy, great in small spaces and around corners etc.

I am going to check out Baby City and Baby Factory as I would imagine they would have them. They retail from $210 (saw one New on Trade Me) to $245 (online sites). A bit more expensive than other strollers but worth it I think.

Pearls, did you have the backpack or the easy fold (2 step fold down) stroller? ie. 3 or 4 wheeler?

Me me me me me!

I LOVE our Quicksmart stroller.

We just took it with us on a month long trip to Canada (and back) and it was brilliant.

Takes a little while to get used to learning to fold it up, but you get used to it, and we didn't have to check it into the baggage hold as it was small enough to go in the overhead bins on the plane (don't let anyone tell you otherwise either).
