We live in Tokoroa and it has been a bit chilly, so i use the winter weight one on the cold nights and the standard one during the day. Hope this helps, they are awesome inventions as my 3 month old insists on kicking her legs around and removing blankets if she's not in her bag. Also, when i started using them at about 2 months, she started sleeping longer at night (we are now up to about 8 hours in one stretch - yay!) which i think has been helped by the sleeping bag! Good luck

I should have said that his room has three outside walls, one of which is really long and has windows pretty much the full length, and not a lot of insulation. Its a nightmare layout!

The fleece blanket is just a temporary measure until the duvet weight bag arrives, and it also serves to pin him in place a bit whilst he gets used to sleeping in the bag.
