I have to check all stuff that I put on my skin that it does not contain liquid paraffin, mineral oil, petroleum or paraffin in it, as I react very badly to it. I am also allergic to the preservatives they use as well, especially the benzoates.

If you are willing to part with $30 for a jar of the stuff, I would highly recommend the Triology Everything Balm if you need something that is extra moisturising. It does last for a while, and is the only stuff I use to moisturise my body with. It only contains natural products, and I know friends who use it for nappy rash as well.

In the bath try alpha keri oil instead it worked a treat on Spencer. You can just buy it from pharmacy for not very much (I don't know if its petroleum based though so would pay to check). Or there is pine tarsol that can also go in the bath, is very stinky though, but i'm pretty sure that isn't petroluem based.

The pharmacist I spoke to said to slap some aqeuous cream on it. So I did and it made is a million times worse (now she's got paper thin skin thanks to the hydrocortisone cream I really didn't want to have to resort to ). That has parrafin in it, and petroleum jelly, so I'd say the fatty cream is the same.
