I wouldn't be keen on the pamol option coz long term use of paracetamol can cause liver damage, I know it's only a tiny amount but they have such tiny livers!<br /><br />Oh and the granules are supposed to be way more effective than the suspension form, so it's worth the hassle.]]>

If I give it straight before a feed she won't latch, I guess they feel gritty and sandy in her mouth, but five mins or so for them to go down and she latches fine. I've also heard people suggest a syringe of cooled, boiled water to wash it down before you give the next feed. The optimum time to give it is 1/2 hour before a feed but I'm yet to meet a baby who is happy to wait 1/2 hour for a feed!]]>

She was on meds but not losec.<br /><br />However, I recently found out a few days ago that losec can inhibit B12 absorption.  Though I don't know how much B12 a 4 week old gets anyway.  But I do know that B12 helps form new cells and a healthy nervous system and synthesis of DNA, RNA.<br />]]>
