PS. I wouldn't be keen on the pamol option coz long term use of paracetamol can cause liver damage, I know it's only a tiny amount but they have such tiny livers!

I find it goes down better if I give it to her a few mins before a feed. If I give it straight before a feed she won't latch, I guess they feel gritty and sandy in her mouth, but five mins or so for them to go down and she latches fine. I've also heard people suggest a syringe of cooled, boiled water to wash it down before you give the next feed. My daughter had silent reflux so can understand yor frustration. She was on meds but not losec.

However, I recently found out a few days ago that losec can inhibit B12 absorption. Though I don't know how much B12 a 4 week old gets anyway. But I do know that B12 helps form new cells and a healthy nervous system and synthesis of DNA, RNA.

Hey I feel for you, Noah & Lola had reflux and were on losec pills they way we got it down them was so put the granules onto a tiny amount of pureed pears and chuck it down there throats, they were about 6wks old when we started doing this.

Hi ladies we went to the pediatrican today and Jayden has reflux and has been prescribed Losec in capsule form, tonight we had to cut the pill and give him 90% of the granules on his tounge and wash down with his milk, trouble is he screamed and then wouldnt take the milk for ages poor boy!
