You can get some stuff called paedialyte from the chemist that helps rehydrate them quicker. We had to syringe it into Spencer when he had rotovirus cos he was refusing to drink anything. Is about $13 a bottle and worth it if she is refusing to drink.]]>

We used Lactulose when he was a wee bubba and it was good but we found we needed to use for a few days to see results. I dont bother boiling the prunes, just put some in a mug (2 or 3) then pour over boiling water and let them stew. Once cool I just put in a bottle (rather than a sippy cup)...that way he will def drink it. </P><P>ETA - the other things that we were told to do when he was little....lie her flat on her back and hold her feet and move her legs in a cycling motion - if that makes sense, also try rubbing her lower tummy in a clockwise direction. </P><P>&nbsp;</P><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by SimSam</span>]]>

If she seems really lathargic though its best to take them to the doc cos that can be a sign that they are ill.]]>

Umm not sure if you have to boil them for Keziah...Lycan is 2 and he just eats them....<br /><br />Apparently pear juice is good too, it helps to soften the stools.  If you have a can of Pears maybe give her a bit of the juice from that...]]>
