I read some chick lit on holidays. One called An offer you can't refuse by Jill mansell. Very good, I couldn't stop reading it.
Also read a jackie collins....

I saw that too. 

I didn't realise that the series continued but googled it last week and found that there are 6 books in the Bourne series.  The original trilogy was written by Robert Ludlum (Bourne Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum). Then after his death some guy called Eric Van Lustbader wrote three more The Bourne Legacy, The Bourne Betrayal and The Bourne Sanction.

Ashlee got a 'my first Bible stories' book from my mum for a present for her first Christmas, I think it was. I started reading it (I love the fact that it's in kids language) but from the first page, I finished reading it with SO many unanswered questions than when I started!

I have 'Change of Heart' by Jodi Picoult that I have tried to start reading a number of times, then just ran out of time! Each time, I have to start over because I forgot what I've read already haha.

ETA: I've heard some great stuff about Paullina Simmons so I'm looking forward to reading some novels of hers.

What a great thread!! I'm always looking for new books

I've just finished Nora Roberts' 'The Hollow' - it's the second book in a trilogy and the third doesn't come out till december - don't you hate that!!

Also love anything by Paullina Simmons, Barbara Erskine and David Gemmel (really good if you're into fantasy).

Im Reading Rachels Holiday by Marian Keyes at the moment - first one of her books i have read and is great cos its light reading!

My favourites are Jodi Picoults books - specially my Sisters Keeper!

Also the Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simmons

The first one was turned into the movie the Golden Compass. I just finished Change of Heart and thought it was brillo. Reading 'The Tenth Level' now.
After this I'm going to read more Jodi Picoult books.

I thought Change of Heart was good, but not as good as some of her other books. Definitely worth a read though Becks!

I just finished 'defiant birth' and just gave it back ot the library so unsure of Author, its about women who chose to conitnue with their pregnancies after being advised to terminate. Really good book. Shocking statistics.

I'm about to start 'Standing in the sunshine' by Sandra Coney its about the history of women in New Zealand.

I'm quite into feminist type books at the moment and it probably doesn't help the course I'm doing is women in society.

Have just finished the Chocolate Lovers Club adn Chocolate Lovers Diet. Both are very light and fluffy, but don't read if you're craving chocolate!

Am currently reading One Two Buckle my Shoe (Agatha Christie) and am psyching myself up to read Jodi Piccoult's latest, Change of Heart. I hate reading about people on death row waiting to die, but love most of her books, so hopefully will be reasonably enjoyable!

One of the top books I have read is called Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M Auel. It was very interesting and you learn about it about the time where it takes place.

At the moment I am reading Stephanie Meyer New Moon, now that is a teenager book but if you want something light hearted the first book Eclipise is quite good. You're a good person renting them from the library! I buy them every time, because library books ALWAYS need to be renewed again and again then returned before I'm finished with them. I don't make a lot of time for reading though I enjoy it. I recently finished The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum and am waiting for The Bourne Supremacy to arrive (bought it off TM).

After I finish the Bourne series I'm going to read The Secret Life of Bees.

I've been trying since Thomas was bored to read, Billy by Pamela Stephenson (billy connelly and his wife is the author) very interesting book

I've just finished 19 Minutes by Jodi Picoult.
Before I move onto my next "big" book (haven't decided what, yet), I'm reading the Shopaholic series and my sister (bless her heart) is lending me her Gossip Girl books this weekend.

I've just finished 'Collapse- how societies choose to fail or survive' by Jared Diamond and also 'Glitz' by Louise Bagshawe Both were good in their own way. I usually always read something non-fiction/stimulating/educational with something fluffy so I can pick between the 2 depending on what mood I am in.

I need to find more books, so i figured i mayas well make a thread and see what all of you are reading.

You can put what yo a reading and what its about, or even just link it to something that has what its about, reviews , whatevers!. I find Amazon is good for those :D
