Hey all, I posted this in the pregnancy thread but thought that others would definately be interested too:

Yesterday I went and had an hour long massage at Amazing Value Massage. AVM is a clinic run by the Wellington School of Massage Therapy.

Their students are the masseuses, but they are all qualified in relaxation massage - they are training for advanced theraputic etc. The clinic is designed to give them work experience while they are still studying.

Anyway - the massage was so, so, SO good. I must say it was one of the better ones I have had since I have been pregnant and the therapist was trained in pregnancy massage.

And best of all - the cost is only $35 for an hour. Very cheap! They also do remedial massage if you need it.

I would recommend it to anyone wanting a wee treat. They will do massage once you are past 14 weeks pregnant. They are based in Plimmer Steps (just off Lambton Quay).
