I found it uncomfortable for a few days but nothing like when the milk comes in. <br /><br />The cabbage leaf advice is correct, they are unbelievably soothing yet very very unnattractive when you take them out!!!!<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> I used them when my milk came in and highly recommend keeping a cabbage in the fridge.]]>

And don't laugh I'm serious! <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0"> chop them to size & tuck into your bra. My mum swears by it & she has had 4 kids. She told me she just stopped and used the cabbage leaves, oh & if she started to get sore, she expressed just enough to take the edge off. She never had any problems with mastitis or blocked ducts or anything while she was drying up. ]]>
