I know where DH and I work (most of you probably know) we have a private ACC insurance for work accidents, but if it is at home then we have to rely on ACC and I thought that they were looking at privatising that too.

Kelly I just want to say I never felt like I was making you justify your vote (you are of age to vote and have every right to vote for whoever you like), as it is your choice. I remember when I first voted in 1999 ir was a total secret as to who I was voting for.

It will be an interesting 3 years. And I was told that Micheal Cullen and Tariana Turia have resigned, if that true???

Emz, I was just told by someone that National is a NZDF supporter as Labour sold off the skyhawks.

What I am upset about is the way such strong opinions are being forced on people here.  As Kelly said, this is meant to be a fun forum to visit......mind you, if everyone moves to Australia....

We've got them for 3 years whether you wanted it or not.  The country has voted!  Thats what its all about.  I'm looking forward to a different way of thinking.

Yep Liz said it. Its not a dig at why she voted National but why when she said nationals Health policy is everything I have read you mum to be against - it just confused me.

And if you read I never asked at one time ask why she voted National I asked about the health policy in particular.

I can see now why a forum I go to in the states put a blanket ban on talking politics.

Very sad here too and way more scared for the future of NZ. I am at the front line of seeing what poverty we already have here and NZ and with the national govt in power I can imagine it is only going to get worse.

Now I wonder how many of the national voters are going to be stabbed in the back when they realise none of the National policies will help them out at all.

Go Liz!!!! I am so behind you there. Change for change sake is a joke. I don't trust John, Bill, or Rodney as far as I could throw them all. If ACT do a collilition and get Rodger Douglas in as Finance minister I am seriously going to look at moving to OZ - that man is damage with a capital D.

What I don't get and it would be nice if you explain it please Susie, you like National's health policies, but I have seen you here type day after day about getting Karitane hospital's back - you do realise National don't like them, National got rid of most of them, and National want to privatise everything which means you would have to pay for your maternity care (in years to come if they stayed around for a while) which is totally not what Karitane hospitals are about. What do you like about their health policy please??

I have today decided I am not continuing with me teaching degree, I do not think national standard testing is good for teachers or students alike. As a mother of a child who is entering school next year I am very worried for his education.

Don't forget National and their ACC policy, you will have to pay for you accident care soon.
