Because DS won't put his arms under the blanket his whole arms/shoulders are exposed. (armpits up).<br /><br />I use to worry with DS getting cold but I asked my Plunket nurse and midwife and as long as his chest and body is warm as the others advised, all is ok.  <br /><br /><img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> ]]>

He's a warm baby anyway. We used to wrap him but he hates that as he likes to have his arms free. They say that you give the baby one more layer than we'd have, but I tried that and Thomas got too hot! Dont worry about Ava having cold hands - like the others said as long as her body is warm you'll be fine!]]>

Daniel always woke with cold hands. Go Ava.<br />Sounds pretty good to me, we have a flanelett sheet and a woolen blanket, as well as having her in a sleeping bag and safety sleep.<br />Are here hands wrapped? sounds slightly strange that they are still cold?? ]]>

She was in a singlet and growsuit with a wrap over top. Is that abou right for this time of year in Auckland. Her hands just seemed alittle cold but i dont want to overheat her.]]>
