I know a girl who had one of these done in Aussie, and she had to have it surgically removed as it had moved and imbedded itself in her muscle. They didn't know this until she found she was pregnant, and therefore had to have it removed. Thats quite a high rate of pregnancy I would have thought?

I'm personally not that into the idea of putting hormones into my body but as an alternative to the pill (if you're not that good at taking it!) the idea seems good. Some of those rates of problems seem quite high though- 14% had it removed because of bleeding irregularities etc.

Do you know how much it costs?
