Like give him more than you normally would?
This is what we have done with caden as the hungry baby formula's were too heavy on his little tummy and he was really grumpy and crying lots.

Oliver might be feeling a bit yucky cos the formula might be sitting heavy in his tummy?

Just a thought

Caden is doing really well on the Nestle NAN and he has 200ml+ most feeds. He is also going through his 12 week growth spurt and eating more than usual today.

And how soon?

We have just switched to SMA which is a cassein dominant formula for hungry babies under six months. It may be just that it's coinciding with a three month growth spurt, or ??? teething but Ollie has been really grumpy, waking much earlier than usual (normally he sleeps from 10pm till about 6am - but he's been waking at 2.30am), looking like he's getting moments of reflux when he's playing and wriggling around, not sleeping through the day and dribbling lots.

We've switched from Nurture plus which is also a hungry baby formula so it shouldn't be that it's a 'hungry baby' formula but we're at our wits end as we normally have a relatively happy little boy and at the moment we have a very sad wee one!
