Well i went for an ultrasound and turns out i had retained products, so i had a D&C done yesterday. Mine was heavy for at least a couple of weeks, altho seemed to get lighter after each baby, it was shortest with Chiara. Mine has been 1-2 weeks really heavy, then lighter, now more like a discharge that is sort of light yellow, saw my MW yesterday and she said thats normal.

Mine was quite heavy for 2-3 weeks and then lightened up for another 3 weeks. I hate that mine lasts for so long, it's really annoying. My lochia was still very heavy at about 2 weeks and so I spoke to my midwife about it and she told me to go into the hospital to have it checked out.  In the end I was put on abs and the lochia lightened almost immediately.

I think I was heavier than that for about 3 weeks, then one week of lighter bleeding, then it stopped, except for two random days about a fortnight later. It's 10 days since i gave birth and my lochia is still quite heavy - i have gone through 3-4 pads today. It isnt a bright red, more like a light red/brown colour, but it is still quite heavy.
