Yip, only have a few of the adults left to buy for!!

What are you buying your DP/DH?
Not sure yet, maybe something for his stock car

Yeah normally, but as I buy through out the year who knows what it equates too!

What do YOU want for Christmas?
Oh something nice for just me!!... maybe a day spa or something

What are your plans for Christmas Day?
Not sure yet, had a crappy year, might just pack up and head to an exotic island somewhere? Maybe out of town at least

Things are all about to change! So not too sure?

Almost all done just need it to be wrapped. Must still buy something small for my DAD (he has other gifts too) and then DH must still get stuff

What are you buying your DP/DH? Have no idea at the moment. Might be a drill press or a wii game or something. something for a $100 or so. We dont go totally overboard on Christmas gifts.

Not really but sorta. We dont go overboard at all but I dont try and buy to a certain limit or anything. I usually just buy for parents if they are here (seeing they are in SA) and for McKayla we buy small stuff as such and same with DH.

What do YOU want for Christmas?

You know what if I can get something that Grant thought of all by himself that he knows I want without me hinting now and then ect that will be my best gift. He has done this only once. First Christmas giving me the most beautifull earrings (Okay and when I saw the box I thought finally my engagement ring, we were already engaged but I only got my ring a few months later)

What are your plans for Christmas Day?

My parents will be here and since being with Grant this will be the first time having a Christmas with them there so will be great. Have no idea what we will be doing. I know Grants Aunt want us to come over and I want them to come over here seeing we were there last year. So have no idea who will "win"

Nope not the same every year at all.

Yeah, $50 for each immediate family member. Kiddies will get $200 each (Joshie and my stepkids)

I'd love some vouchers to get fabbo stuff for my kitchen.

What are your plans for Christmas Day?
My family this year - heading to our bach, lots of wine, food and swimming (obviously not when been drinking the wine!)

Year about for families - Christmas this year with my family, New Year with DP's.

Do you have a set budget that you spend on everyone? Not really, but I should .. I'm terrible .. I love shopping for other ppl so tend to go a bit overboard!

What do YOU want for Christmas? Don't know.... a new book and a facial is probably what I'll get tho

What are your plans for Christmas Day? Nothing planned yet, I wanted to go home (or to DHs family in Aussie) but will be too close to EDD to fly that far. We will probably go to a champagne brunch at one of the big hotels or I will make DH cook me a roast dinner here (I'm usually the cook in the house!)

Are your plans the same or different every year? Different because we've been in a different country for Christmas since we've lived together. I am dying to have a Christmas back home, but last year I went home mid-Jan (until April) for our wedding and this year I am pregnant! So will be second year in a row "on our own" in Singapore.

I've started a list for kids on both mine & DH's sides but no actual shopping..
What are you buying your DP/DH?
Either a tattoo voucher (if I can find a good place) or a Snowplanet voucher as he's never been but wants to..

No set budgets but I am quite conscious of how much we spend and try to keep it minimal by topping up bought pressies with things I've made..
What do YOU want for Christmas?
I want a beautiful sunny day, maybe a walk/swim at the beach and just to chill out..

My parents first thing, DH's parents for brekky, and not sure how the rest of the day will go. We decided not to do the extended family thing on either side this year but will have to do something to commemorate our first family Xmas..

What are you buying your DP/DH? I have NO idea!

Do you have a set budget that you spend on everyone? Sort of, for my family we do secret santa. You pull out someones name and you have to spend $50 on that person and thats all you buy for. Works really well because with partners etc the family is getting HUGE!

What do YOU want for Christmas? Hopefully a BFP Id also like beauty vouchers, horse trek vouchers, farmers vouchers - so basically vouchers lol

What are your plans for Christmas Day? Probably DH's Aunty's for breakfast/brunch, then maybe a walk around the gardens or something, then out to my parents in the afternoon for dinner drinks etc. Think though this year we might be having it at our house - ARGH! Lol, might just do potluck then! haha

For years and years they have always been the same, but they are starting to change now the more grandchildren come

Yes We're still mostly in the planning stages but I will have gifts ready for my niece and nephews within the next couple of weeks, before I go to visit my sis.

What are you buying your DP/DH?
He really wants a percolater so I thought I'd buy him one. I really want a video cam and am trying to convince him that we should buy one as a joint gift for him and I.

Do you have a set budget that you spend on everyone?
Yes and no. We have a budget for the niece and nephews (we spend $15 on each) which my sister instigated long before DH and I had kids. We usually spend about $50 on MIL and about the same on my parents. The budget for ourselves changes each year and there's no point setting a budget for Michaela as DH will ignore it anyway.

What do YOU want for Christmas?
I want my daughter to get as excited about Christmas as I do, I want a sunny day and a nice afternoon with family, and I'm hoping to convince DH to buy a video cam.

What are your plans for Christmas Day?
We're having Christmas at our house this year and will invite our family around. I'm keeping the menu pretty basic with cold meat and salads for mains (assuming I'm not knocked up) and pav, berry salad, home made sorbet and home made choc mousse for dessert - yum!

Not really, but we have heaps of people to buy for (I have way too many siblings!) so we tend to keep the presents small.

To go home to DH Anything else is just a bonus. Maybe something for our new house.

Spend the morning together, then head to DH's parents place for lunch (via the beach for a swim if I get my way)

Are your plans the same or different every year?
They vary a little bit - we either go and stay at my parents or have lunch with DH's family. It would be nice if DH's family would be open to allowing us to host Christmas one day, but they don't seem in any hurry to do so.

We're off to my Aunties in Northern NSW this year and will spend the day with my Aunty and cousins.

Usually $50 each for my immediate family, $30 each for DF's family. $150-$200 for DF and then we have a draw with my aunts, uncles and grandma where we spend $30-$50 on one person each which is labelled "from the family"

A Nikon digital SLR camera and a new ipod that can take a few movies (both to take on honeymoon)

I go to my parent's place for breakfast and DF goes to his (weird I know but it works for us) then DF comes to wherever my family is having Christmas lunch(think it's at M & D's this year) then we join DF's family for dinner (although we actually don't eat anything!!! ) It works for us for now but will change once bubs comes along I'm sure

The same plan but the venues change each year as we rotate who 'hosts' lunch/dinner (both our families operate this way)

Yes. I've got a CD player, Hannah Montana duvet cover and beanbag on Chrisco for DD. Have been buying cute mink blankies every couple of weeks for the nephews and niece.

Not sure. Am thinking of paying for him to sit his full drivers license.

Not really. I get Warehouse and Farmer's vouchers from Chriscos which is what I use for Christmas.

DP's family is Aussie. His father and stepfather are moving to Canada in March next year so they are doing the HUGE family christmas thing. We'd love to go, but really can't afford and won't be able to get time off as we both work in retail and its at the busiest time of the year. Have discussed just DP going, but doesn't appear to be a happening thing either.

No idea. We've spent the last two years in Tauranga with my family.

No, I have started on a list but not got far with that.

*tosses up whether to say on here* hmmm I'm mostly decided but I won't put it on here in case he comes for a visit

Yep it's rather tight but we spend twice as much for each of us as for our immediate families (both large).

What do YOU want for Christmas?
A vase, or someone to buy me some pretty earrings so I have an incentive to finally get my ears pierced!

What are your plans for Christmas Day?
Christmas morning is ours. That's our rule. IL's are coming from 11am onwards, most likely for lunch and pressies and most of the afternoon. It's our first Christmas hosting!

Are your plans the same or different every year?
We alternate Christmas Day with my family and DH's family - this summer we will go to my mum and dad's for New Years instead. Next summer we will be with the IL's for New Years.

Well I get to finish work at Christmas and spend summer 'laxing in my lovely new house so I don't really feel like I need anything! Maybe some books to read in the sun

Have parents to stay, have parents-in-law and auntie round for xmas lunch. Relax for the afternoon, then bro arrives late afternoon so we'll do presents with him then leftovers for tea

Different, this is the first time we've had Christmas at our house. Usually we all go to mum and dad's in wellington.

Yes, Niece & Nephews $40, Parents $200 combined (they are very generous to us and this is about the only way they will let us repay them), Fav uncles & aunt $50, siblings $50 combined (ie per couple) close cousins and friends $20

Spend it with DH's Family

not normally, but next year we are attempting a trip to my parents, my brother and his family are coming to in an attempt to make it bareable and forcing mother to behave.

Yes - DF's family set a $20 limit and you buy a random present and just choose one that the others have bought - so you don't buy for anyone in particular. Mum and Dad I just choose something, usually vouchers or books.

NOPE - not yet.. i said would start in October at start of year.. Got a week or so to go

What are your plans for Christmas Day? umm will just wake up, DH and I then head to mums for pressie opening, then head to my nana's for family lunch and then either my Aunty house for dinner on other side or to DH parents if they are up (dont think they are this year)

Yeah otherwise I go nuts on DH and DH goes nuts on everyone in the extended family that just adds up too fast. I put aside money each fornight for christmas and once that is gone, thats it basically

little speakers for my ipod and that's all I can think of really

Depends where we are, if we are in Palmy probably open pressys here then head to my parents place for lunch. Then maybe to DH's family for dinner.

If we are in Waihi then probably just open pressys and lax out on the beach

I'm still in the denial phase that it's only a few days to go, probably will wait for the Labour Day Sales and chuck some stuff on layby

No idea, usually something that he doesn't expect.

Sure do. $50 for the siblings and the parents

something to wear to our friends wedding in Q'Town in January. Books are always good for me too. Maybe a BDO ticket, depending on who's coming

The kids will open their presents here and then we are going to Orewa for lunch. Then over to Red Beach for the afternoon
