So I've watched it now. ARGH I HAVE to go there!!!   I figure a Builder and a Social Worker could be put to good use over there for a year or half, and our kids could benefit from it. We could save now while they're little and once they're old enough for an english-speaking school over there we could be off!! I didn't see it, but I wish I had now.

A family friend adopted a child from Russia. She met her (now) daughter when she was 6 months old and finally got to bring her home on her 3rd birthday. It was such a long and drawn out process (not to mention emotionally exhausting), but it's all turned out really well.
The little girl is now 8 and is like any other Kiwi kid

i could only watch 20 mins of it it was tooo sad. to see all the children how they used to be in cots just going crazy. Awful.
