We both keep forgetting to ring the docs but none of us are rashy so I'll presume everyone is ok

    Author: busymum
Subject: 21362
Posted: 01 October 2008 at 9:36pm

Over the last day or two, Kryssi has come out in a rash. It has completely covered her face, ears, hairline, neck, tummy, back, and you can see that it is starting on her legs today as well. There are so many, they're like freckles on a redheaded boy! They are just slightly raised, but not pimply.

Anyway, she doesn't seem bothered by the rash and has no other issues (e.g. dribbly nose or anything). DH took her to the dr today and he basically said it looks like something viral, if it starts itching then she has an allergy to the virus, and to keep her away from pregnant women!

Now first of all I find it almost hilarious that my GP and DH both forgot in a short appointment time that I am pregnant!! But secondly, has anyone else had anything like this before? Thirdly, if the warning was to stay away from pg women (clearly impossible in my case), does that indicate that it might be rubella? (btw I have rubella immunity but Kryssi ought to have as well - her imm's are up to date).
