Thing is, I'm really getting into natural healing and homeopathy / aromatherapy again - don't know where the urge is coming from this time though !! I had a special one put together specifically for my labour (my aunt is a trained homeopath and also in aromatherapy) but to be honest I used nothing! I had mini fans, massage lotion, sprays etc etc- a whole bag full of the stuff and used absolutely nothing, not one single thing. I didn't use aromatherapy as such but had lavender massage stuff... I advise against it (lavender) as I almost put my midwife to sleep.
