Oh bugger, DH has been called up for jury duty the week we are 20 weeks, he might not even get picked but if he does I dont want him to miss it....

I dont want to go to early, might be a phone call to the midwife on monday I think...

Mine was at 20 weeks and the tech told me it was the best time to get a good view of everything before it got squished up. Earlier = more accurate in terms of figuring a due date. Yeah Brenna, thats what I think we might do, we have to pay for it anyway and its not cheap. I am sure my mw will give me a referral for a scan around 28 weeks if I want one.

Foxxy, we might get the 4D done with the anatomy, it depends. The place where I go will check to see if they will be any good during your anatomy. 18-20 can be a bit early as they dont have much fat on them so they look quite skeletal. But if bubs takes after me, it will be well chubby

We did a seperate scan to get out 3d pics (at about 31 weeks). The sonographer said that about 27 - 29 weeks is great because the baby isn't too big.

Is the exact time you can have your anatomy scan between18 weeks - 20 weeks?

Or are there days either side? I guess its not super important, but considering it may be the last time we see bubs until the birth i kinda want to make it as late as possible (i know its silly). Also the sonographer told me that the older they are the better quality the 4D pics are..... Not that that is super important either.
