Bit of a late reply...

I bought some stretchy cotton sheets from the Warehouse & cut them up. I've found them brilliant - they were double sheets, so I've made some smaller ones for now and some bigger ones for when she grows. Sheet set cost $40 I think. Soft and light but not cold to touch. We wrapped Hayden in a large muslin square for the first 9 weeks or so and then he got too long for them so we moved on to the miracle wrap - the muslin wrap would be perfect for you going into summer now - if you have access to an overlocker you really could whip one up yourself I bet, I think even I could manage it hee hee!

We have several shaped wraps but unless they pin his arms down like the miracle wrap they are useless for us Hayden will wiggle his fist up in 2 mins flat and keep himself awake for hours sucking on it.

We've played around with a few different things. One is a dimples wrap - rectangular shape but gorgeous stretchy cotton fabric, another is a square cotton wrap from pumpkin patch that I was given at my baby shower. While she's still little a regular cloth nappy does the trick, too! I use a merino wrap - cool in summer, warm in winter.

Bit expensive though - $50. i have a large swaddleme was $39.99 at baby factory but you can get them online at the sleep store and i have a miracleblanket from there aswell.

Muslin

Hannah was always wrapped in muslin. By 3 months she'd pretty much grown out of the store-bought ones, so we started to not wrap her at night.
Otherwise I was just going to buy some from a fabric store and overlock the edges.

We used big Muslin squares up until we stopped wrapping them at 7 months. Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good wrap/blanket for wrapping my 3 month old? As it is warming up at night time it is now too hot to use a woollen blanket. Also approximate prices would be great to know.
