If it's over 39 I always take to the doc, if it's between 38-39 I make a call based on how they seem, and if under 38 I tend to just observe. ]]>

Its so scary when your kids get sick like that.<br />I think Kelly has given some really awesome advice above, never, ever feel stupid for worrying about your child's health. If its really worrying you, get her checked, even if its just for your peace of mind to rule out the things you're really scared of. <br />Hope she bounces back really fast!]]>

I always remember a doctor telling me that if they are still happy and playing, then they will be fine, but if they become quiet, seem to have difficulty breathing or are really limp and lethargic, then get them to a doctor. Her temp is back to 36 but she still feels like shes on fire, shes only sleeping in a very light pair of cotten short pj's and a tiny light cotten top, no blankets nothing. Shes really quiet and just wants to lie on you and watch tv, usually she doesnt stay still for a second. ]]>

I wouldn't take her to the Dr, check her every four hours and give more Pamol if she is getting hotter. Otherwise if she is sleeping ok, hopefully she will sleep off whatever it is. I wouldn't go to an after hours dr until 39 deg or something else was going on such as finding it hard to breathe.]]>

I would take her temp again in a bit the pamol will probably bring it down and if not ring healthline.
